  • lool thats holly from roger gracie academy

  • @poganla123 Holly? Where did this Holly thing come from? Oli! >_<

  • It was Gaz at the beginning of the video, right ?

  • @pancraselondon Gaz and Alex were both there, yup.

  • Stalkachu, you train at rga, which would you say is a better no-gi trainer roger or eddie? Or more beneficial coach for bjj.

  • Eddie works within his system, which is great, but sometimes I feel evolving within that framework is harder in the long run. You can get the hang of the 10th planet system in six months if you try, and I'd find it hard to keep doing the same stuff for months on end after that. That said, Eddie and the rest of his guys are trying to evolve 10th planet, adding new popular techniques as they go, so maybe that will be less true as time goes on.

That said, Roger. But Eddie is a good coach.

  • when has eddie claimed to be a great coach he frequently says he sucks and learns from his students, i am no 10th planet fan, but i don't act disrespectful either.

  • Eddie's Arm Triangle is death...

  • Oli ur a killer !!! gd to realise how gd is eddie bravo in that type of sparring

  • Nice match!!

  • @Stalkachu my apologies mate

  • @Stalkachu loool my apologies

  • the man is a teacher, he has a nack for it naturally, id love to teach bjj but unfortunately i dont have the apptitude quite yet

  • @Stalkachu I agree I think basically what eddie is doing is showing you his game with a few techniques that he has evolved from bjj. I still will probably start going to a pjj school sometime in my future though because having eddies game with a few new tricks thrown in is like having a gracie tell you the secrets behind his game.

I also think it's really important to have applicable skills from as many martial arts as possible, and I think it would be naive for someone to limit to JUST PJJ.

  • why wud u dislike this?
