Recorded in 1925. The Coon Sanders Nighthawks were something of a novelty jazz group that did fun lovin' tunes. The leaders consisted of Joe Sanders (1896-1965), piano and Carleton Coon (1893-1932) a drums.Coon & Sanders did vocals up until 1932 when Coon died follow a jaw infection. With Coon goes the band lost a lot of spark that they were never able to regain.
