I just wanted to post some pictures from my experiences before and after jaw surgery. I had to have two surgeries because the screws that were placed in my jaw didn't set correctly the first time.

Feel free to post any questions and I'll respond back asap!

  • what a handsome devil .. ima have it done on may. Ima boxer though so im scared if that might make my jaw weak :( (after 5 years of boxing i never been down) what after how much time did you start feeling your jaw strong again?

  • @lynwoodca

hey man. good question! the surgeon told me that i could participate in physical activity (working out, etc) a month after the surgery. he said by this point the jawbone has fully healed. he did say to be careful when it came to contact sports tho. i know you might take a lot of hits in boxing, so i guess you'd want to ask your surgeon. but to be honest it took 2-3 months until my jaw felt comfortable and strong again. good luck with the surgery my friend

  • how come you have had 2 surgeries? something went wrong the the first one?

what procedure did they done to you?

  • @bobbyknight81

hey. the screws that were placed in my jaw didn't set correctly the first time so they had to do a second surgery because my underbite was coming back due to failed hardware. the procedure itself was corrective jaw surgery for an underbite. i also received a chin implant as well.

  • my partners thinks that getting this surgery is a waiste of time and money, but i feel like it will make me feel better and look better, he said that it doesn't show that much but it a real big bother to me.

how did the surgery made you feel?

you look great after the surgery

hey. sorry it took me forever to respond to you. i've been pretty busy the last few weeks with finals. the surgery has definitely helped improve my self esteem. it also helps me eat better, talk better, and smile better. it feels great to finally feel like you are smiling right if you know what i mean. i highly recommend it. it is truly a life changing thing. :)
