I actually find the songs a lot different....they're not bad. And the to the girl who was bitching about the song. Lay off. I am tamil too and i don't give a damn that it sounds different and you shouldn't either. If you don't like it, don't listen to it and sure as hell don't comment on it.

Aamir has outdone all his previous efforts to entertain the masses-by a long margin. He deserves the financial and intangible success resulting from the film. It has been a long time since a Bollywood flick entertained me to such extent. As far as the comparison with the South Indian original is concerned, everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I believe that Aamir and Asin have MUCH better chemistry on screen. Furthermore, the song sequences and the music was miles ahead of the original.
