  • so were you able to touch after...im having the same exact problem....both toes touch but im about the same distance as you from having my heels touch which would make me feel much more comfy...did this completely solve your issue.....trying to avoid lowering...and wearing boots. i wanna ride in shorts and jordans. i just wanna feel safe and sturdy ya know?

  • @kief4diamonds it didnt really solve the problem entirely. i can touch depending on the shoes. shorts dont realy make a difference and i gues it depends on the sole of your jordans. i can reach pretty good with my XIV's on.

  • i would not take advice about a bike, from a person who appears to not be able to mount/dismount one.

  • great job bro. just got a cbr1000rr and im about 5'3". will def shave the seat!

  • I thought the video would end with the same shot at the beginning with showing your shoes flat footed on the ground. That was the final shot that you should have edited in. Even if it was just an improvement we wanted to see the results ourselves.

  • I dont understand why someone would dislike this

  • what's ur bike ?

  • Cool video. I'm 5'6". I had a lowering link put on my bike and it is much more comfortable now. I know they say u should not lower a bike because it messes them up when cornering. I'm not a knee dragger so I have had no problems and I feel as if my bike handles corners even better now. I had it lowered 1 inch in he back and 1 1/4 in the front 2 years ago and have never had any problems. Thanks to Soupy's Performance Lowering Link.

  • At the beginning is that you before or after you did this?

  • @evaant14 Depends how thick your seat is. It may take longer but you should shave and inch, see how that fits, if its not enough shave another .5-1" off. 3" may be too much.

  • This is a tidy vid. I didn't realise modding the seat was so easy.
