The Characteristics of the Ghuraba (Strangers) 1/3

Allaah's Messenger (Sallallaahu 'alayhe wa Sallam) said:
"Islaam began as something strange and shall return as something strange so glad tidings to the strangers."

They (the Sahaba) said, "Who are they, O Messenger of Allaah?" He said, "Those who rectify when the people have become corrupted," [1]

In another narration,
"They rectify what the people have corrupted of my Sunnah after me." [2]

This shows us a great affair that will occur at the end of time. So we should ask Allaah to make us firm upon the truth and cause us to die in a state of Islaam. It is also upon us to strive to know the truth and its people and to recognise falsehood and its people in order to be upon the truth. Hence, we follow the truth and its people.- Shaykh Saalih Ibn Fawzan al-Fawzan (hafidahullaah), from a book called 'Trials Of Life'
