Senator Barack Obama (D-IL), delivered a speech on August 1, 2007 on the subject of world-wide terrorism at the Woodrow Wilson Center.

Ever since 2003, I have longed to hear any politician -- particularly a Democrat -- deliver a speech with the kind of clarity and vision as this one delivered by Senator Obama.

It is about time that politicians stopped beating around the Bush/Cheney and give us the truth of how this fiasco in Iraq has been a setback to America's fight against global terrorism.

For me, I am so tired of the Iraq diversions by this administration and their total ineptitude at going after those bastards in Afghanistan that killed 3,000 of our citizens.

BRAVO!!

Senator Obama, you now have my vote!

  • Why is it when i se obama i see him as a hobo?

  • @TheMidnightRider11 In one particularly notable finding, the report by Justice Department Inspector General Glenn A. Fine concluded that the FBI missed at least five chances to detect the presence of two of the suicide hijackers -- Nawaf Alhazmi and Khalid Almihdhar -- after they first entered the United States in early 2000.

This is actually fact but you say these people entered two years before WOW! and your recent comment says you use facts PLEASE!

"Facts are stupid things." - Ronald Reagan

Republicans are always trying to blame others for their buffoonery. Who armed Osama bin Laden? Republicans. Who armed Saddam Hussein? Republicans. Most of our current problems with terrorists are the result of idiotic Republican policies that armed Islamic extremists and coddled murderous dictators.

"We did not, repeat did not, trade arms for hostages." - Ronald Reagan

  • @AtlasShruggery Nice, I come up with actual facts, And all you do is come back with immature petty ass Immature Insults...Typical Liberal....Who hates Truth and Facts cause they can't argue with facts...Only Liberal immature emotional Insults....What are you 12?

  • @TheMidnightRider11

LOL, Teabagger.. The plaintive wail of the whiny Republican titty baby; "It's all Bill Clinton's fault!"

  • @AtlasShruggery Which party allowed the 20 Hi jackers into this country two years before 9/11 even happened Bill Clinton and the Democrats, Which party and President refused to take custody of Bin Laden 3 times after he was arrested and offered to the U.S....Bill Clinton and the Democrats...Which party was Only in office 7 months before 9/11 Bush and The Republicans...But those came into our country and trained to fly those planes in our country under The Democrats watch

  • Republicans have spent the last 10 years screaming 'Democrats want the terrorists to win'. Obama and the Dems accomplished in 2 years what the Republicans couldn't do in 7 years.

Let historians note which party was asleep at the switch on 9-11 and which party took out Osama bin Laden.

  • While republicans were wondering about birth certificates & other childish things... Obama was busy dealing with more serious matters. 3 days from now the republican shit storm will begin again fooling everyone that they are serious about debt & budgets... except those who know that republicans always get fiscally serious when democrats are in office to restrict democratic programs & then proceeded to spend/ steal every $ when they get into power while hiding behind the fog of more war.
  • @dakker4001 at least he is better than Bush, who was INSANE.

  • Werd up!
