My Strongest Suit - Miss Ball State University 2006

Oi, this performance. Even I'd give it a one. First experience doing several things 1) singing for a pageant, 2) condencing a song I love down to two minutes - THAT'S painful, 3) singing a song out of context of the show and 4)using a hand held mic.

In my opinion now: Too slow, poor quality instrumentation, too much "dancing" (or attempting to do so in 4 1/2 inch heels), and not enough connection to the text. You can probably tell by this clip that I was exceedingly nervous. Well this fiasco paid off because while I didn't win talent, I did win the pageant.

While I'm still not perfect, my how far I've come! lol I may sing this song again and reupload it, but at the moment, I'm not sure. At least I still love that dress.

well i think you did a good job but it was too slow, too short, and this song just doesnt really work without the backup singers. its a little boring. but nice job vocally!

well, you gave me shivers, and that doesn't happen unless the singer is fantastic. it's a shame that Aida isnt on Broadway anymore because i think with a little bit more vocal training you'd be a great Amneris. 5 Stars.
