i'd pick a pit bull before i got a doberman but now i have a 9 month old female european doberman and she is already 80 lbs and complete muscle so if i was gettin a dog for protection and a companion i'd pick a doberman

The statistics are not on your side. The arguement was pit vs Doberman. Doberman is a smarter more loyal dog period. Ill find 100 putbull attacks in the news for every one doberman attack you find. I realize more people have them... as i said they are a trash breed.
