@HelleoBase The creative designer of the game, Cliff Bleszinski, had this idea of a "rambo rabbit", in theme with the idea of an animal mascot character similar to other games like Sonic The Hedgehog. Since he couldn't call him "rambo", the name "Jazz" came soon as a replacement. He happened to have a dog named Jazz, named after the Transformer. Due to further alliteration, jackrabbit was chosen to go with Jazz.
