  • where begin the strings. where continue the fingers... i love it.

  • @HerrBst

not as sloppy as your phrasing. i didnt hear sloppiness....but maybe some overplaying where it wasnt needed.

  • very nice,

I don't like the passages however when he plays these really fast lines like 2:30

    they sound sloppy to me

  • legend....legend with huge f'ing hands

  • I erred: Joe Byrd, acoustic double bass; Chuck Redd, drums, 1988; (There were Charlie Byrd, and Barney Kessel too.)

  • This was probably recorded in 1984, when Tal was on tour with "The Great Eight": Teddy Wilson, Johnny Mince, Buddy Tate, Billy Butterfield, Red Norvo, Slam Stewart, and Sam Woodyard. I've met them all in my hometown where they performed in a bank.

    Happy birthday, Tal Farlow!

    (June 7, 1921 – July 25, 1998)

  • Where and when was this recorded?

  • awesome
