@Mastajelly I wasn't trying to insult drunken fist. I apologize if I did. I would love to see if performed with success in a match, since it really is one of the most attractive martial arts. My MAIN point is what you echoed...it is never performed while drunk (successfully, anyway.)

Zui Quan can be used to fight I've done it several times. It may look art but can do damage as well. Plus zui quan is almost impossible for a drunk to do because you must be flexible and quick. Even if we look off balance we are balanced and self controlled.

Drunken boxing is one of the most beautiful forms of Chinese ART, but that's really where it ends. It isn't a true fighting style...nothing against it, I love it as much as most, but it's not a fighting style. That's why it always loses. And please, there is no physical activity on earth that is easier to do when drunk. There's a reason why Shaolin monks are better at drunken boxing than anyone else, and I assure you, it's not because they're drunk.

Im so sick of people saying that you dont practice drunken boxing drunk bing in the sate of inebriation helps you understand the style better, it teaches you all the basics of the style, such as dead weight, no fear, how to stagger, to be loose, and verything else a drunk does, if you study drunken boxing only sober then your no true drunken boxer and will never understand how it really works, and thats why people that only study it sober get there asses kicked

@ohgr919 His opponent clearly had the upper hand in this match. However, he did seem reasonably competant, and scored a few good hits. Though he most certainly lost, I am pretty certain he would be quite capable of reducing me to mush in a fight.

@Cryptiic6 I know, it looks sloppy and unorganized. Its harder to use a defensive set on the style because the center is constantly moving. Its ingenious really, but this guy gets hit too much and doesnt retaliate enough.
