I don't do any gaming, so I can't really say if it would work out - not sure of the requirements of the games.

But this particular series is billed as a small business computer.

I think some other Dells might be touted as good for gaming.

yes it is. My dell vostro 1400 has 4gb of ram 2 gz core 2 duo and nvidia graphics. It can run every game including Crysis very smoothly and with a good level of detail too.

Try the address in the video - it takes you to the page at Dell to choose from Vostro models.

I currently have an EeePC 7". I got it 3 days after release. So i got it when i thought it would be genuinely useful and not just cool to have one. Now its not really fast enough for what i need. Im now needing to do some photoshop and CAD on a laptop. Im going to be getting a vostro 1400 within the next few days so cheers for the video. :D

Ive only seen the vostro 1000 in person so nice to see a vostro 1400

I am looking at getting the Vostro as a compliment to my EEE and as a replacement for my desktop. The eee is way more portable, it is half the size.

There are plenty of machines that are smaller - it all depends on what you need on the road. I edit and render video, record and edit podcasts, etc. on mine.

Plus, I have lots of programs I want to be able to travel with, including PhotoShop, Office, and other hogs.
