The Making of The Lion King Part 3

This is the third installment of The Making of The Lion King. This mainly feature the cut characters, and songs/ scenes as they were shown on the story reel. This means they are the storyboard images with the voices matching what is shown.

Towards the end of the video it shows concept art of the actual landscape. It is very interesting and informative.

What does that "step" thing on the screen mean? (Not too familiar with laserdiscs)

@StudioSHAD Oh well the steps are like the chapters of DVDs. Basically you select the step button to move forward on the Laserdisc xD

I'm so glad that Elton John was able to talk the executives at Disney into keeping "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" as a romantic ballad and not as a comedic parody (sung by Timon and Pumbaa, no less!). I loved the original demo with just Simba & Nala singing the song (it almost makes me wish it had made it to the final film),but the demo with Timon and Pumbaa was hilarious! Thanks for the great bonus material, and I wish some of this had made it onto the Diamond Edition Blu-ray release.
