  • The famous Dmitri Bjelika interviewing! He doesn't have a good reputation

  • @isedairi Why doesn't he have a good reputation?

  • @isedairi Because he is a TERRIBLE interviewer-= he won't shut the fuck up.

I understand he has to translate his questions and Bobby's answers. However, he does more than that= He asks Bobby a Question, Bobby starts to answer, Beljica translates the answer and BEFORE BOBBY IS FINISHED HIS THOUGHT Beljica asks him ANOTHER QUESTION. This could have been an invaluable document. It isnt'. Bobby's total time speaking is less than 20 seconds.

  • wtf... why is that faggot talking so much, stfu and let bobby talk

  • @isedairi His name is Dimitrije Bjelica ! And he is from Serbia ex Yugoslavia and he was a good friend with Bobby Fischer, who is for me the best chess player ever !

  • for some reason he never played well against tal

  • Have you also lost count how many times you hear "Capablaca" in this clip?!

  • @KJVWordofGod What do you mean? When asked if he could beat Capablanca, he didn't display the type of attitude that you describe. He just said, "Well, I don't know... if he doesn't make any mistakes then he wins. If I don't make any mistakes then I win. It's hard to say."

  • It was difficult (impossible?) for Bobby to admit anyone was great at chess or could possibly be a match for him. He really believed he was unbeatable and the very best in the world and no one else was in his class.

  • Yes, the journalist made mistakes, but you have to look at the situation of the times. In defense of the interviewer here, you should acknowledge that back in those days they did not have instant translation in subtitles. Here, it was the requirement of the interviewer to both ask questions and translate. The reason why the interviewer interupts often is because if he does not interject he will lose track of all the things the guest said. The interviewer had an extremely difficult task.

  • Frustrating to watch this. The interviewer is obviously incompetent and should be thrown out of the window!
