Indoctrinated(brainwashed) people always feel threatened when their beliefs are questioned. After all, from a historic perspective, religion is about the power to control the masses.

If you believe Jesus is your savior, good for you. from an empirical view, you have no proof of this. Why are you so threatened by what someone else chooses to believe? Is your own faith that fragile?

My personal belief is that man has so perverted the message of Jesus by adding dogma, it is not to be trusted.

@koninem Over & above what we believe MAY be true, ie God exists, the Bible is the ONLY authority of truth or whether Jesus is the only way..etc, people advocating & manifesting love, compassion, peace, non-violence, kindness..etc, ALL qualities of the historical Jesus, qualities I am sure Oprah & Eckhart hv, is misleading people.

The only time we should call others out on belief, is when beliefs are the impetus to cause UNNECESSARY SUFFER to conscious creatures both Human & Non-Human

@quaid8 The sun rises and sets everyday. Every human on earth has personal evidence every day. Religion/faith does not work that way.

People born into other religions may say "why is it so hard to accept buddah,krishna or allah". They would use very similar arguments you use for jesus.

I am not saying you are wrong, or right. For myself, I try to keep an open mind.

I do believe that the bible is the work of man not god though.

@finerbiner Intersting look on things, but are you familiar with Herod? Look up Herod. Jesus warns us against people like Herod. And Oprah is Herod. Jesus is the only way. Why is that hard to accept? The Sun rises in the east and sets in the west everyday the same one way and we accept it. One way, one truth. It's not about religion it's a relationship with Jesus. Not baptist or methodist just me and my main man Jesus Christ. The Bible isn't a menu to pick and choose through. It's all or nada!
