Interestingly, one of the most exciting matches of this year's US Open was between two serve-and-volleyers; Taylor Dent and Ivan Navarro. B

oth were incredibly skilled, but the crowd won it for Dent. Unfortunately, TV coverage only got the last set and tiebreak of the match.

3:36 classic edberg net game.! This is what separates him from so-so volleyers. He stands 6'3'' tall yet when he is at the net, his shoulder is always at the net-height. His foot work is beyond amazing, always in discrete movements. He constantly rabbit foots 2~4 times between every shot. Despite his slim looking figure, he indeed had a powerful legs running like that all day long.

Serve and Volley Stefan Edberg - the most elegant player of all times !

Nastase invented shots that never existed, win or lose Borg would concentrate better and longer than anyone else, from anywhere on court Federer would hit harder and more accurate than his opponents, young or old 1st or 2nd serve McEnroe will always come to the net, and Rod Laver is the only one to have won twice all 4 GS titles in the same year ... but Edberg was the most elegant and gentleman of all !

Edberg and Lendl gave me the deepest impression when I was little, if I had to pick, I would pick Edberg as my all time fav. over Lendl, because not only he's a great player, but like many have pointed out here, he's also graceful, and that you don't find very often in players these days.
