Smallville: Trailer - New and Old Love (Stairway to Heaven)

MY 100TH VIDEO!! IT'S FINALLY HERE!!! I WANT THIS TO HAVE 100 (OR MORE) COMMENTS!! SO PLEASE COMMENT :D

So for my 100th video I decided to try something new. It was hard coming up with an idea of something I haven't done before. I've done crossovers, AU videos, character videos, friendship videos, couple videos, etc... So you can imagine my wanting to do something different. After talking with a few youtube friends I decided to make a trailer. I've seen a lot of really amazing trailers here on youtube and I hope mine can measure up to some of them! This trailer tells a story of love and hurt, just as the show does. It is self-explanatory (I think) but just in case I will tell you the basics of the story being told.

First of all, I chose the instrumental version of Led Zeppelin's hit song "Stairway to Heaven" because I wanted something classic and original for my first trailer. I hope you like it!

The story is that Clark Kent and Lana Lang are happy together and are passionately in love with each other. Things are going smoothly when Clark bumps into Lois Lane at the Daily Planet and Lana meets Lex Luthor. Destiny steps in and Lana strays from Clark into the hands of Lex. Clark goes to see Lex only to discover him in a lip-lock with Lana. Feeling betrayed, Clark leaves Lana and finds comfort in his new friend, Lois. As Lois helps Clark get over what happened, Clark falls in love with his new friend. However, Lana, regretting what she's done and missing Clark, comes back and tells Clark she's leaving Lex and that she wants to be with him again. Clark pulls away and tells her he's in love with someone else and that his feelings for her have changed. Lana refuses to believe this until Clark tells her he doesn't love her anymore. Heartbroken and having no place to go, Lana returns to Lex and agrees to marry him. Clark is with Lois when he sees the wedding invitation and is not happy with the idea of Lana marrying Lex. Lois senses this and is hurt by Clark's reaction. Clark tells Lana not to marry Lex but she does anyway. Lois tells Clark she doesn't want to lose him -- she can't lose him -- and Clark assures her that he's not going anywhere. Clark is in love with Lois but doesn't want to see Lana get hurt in a rebound relationship with Lex. Lana soon realizes that she loves Lex but her feelings for Clark aren't going away and she still wants him back. Lana proceeds to pursue Clark in hopes of getting him back but he pulls away every time and goes home to Lois. After talking with Lois, Lana comes to realize what she and Clark had is truly over. Lana decides to move on and be happy with Lex while letting Clark be happy with Lois, his new fiancé.

I know the ending seems a bit abrupt and cuts straight to the happy-ish ending but for my 100th video I wanted something full of drama but with a happy ending. I really hope you like this!! I also tried to keep to the storylines of the show and of the Superman story but I did twist it around a bit for my own creative fun! I worked really hard on this so it'd be perfect! Wow I love this!! I love vids that transition Clana to Clois. I love Stairway To Heaven and I haven't heard this version before. It got very dramatic there for a while :D Lana was really trying to get Clark back and he was just like NOPE lol! Excellent job!! :D

thank you!! yeah this was probably when i made the full leap into Clois-land, lol. well i was always a Clois fan at heart even before watching SV but Clana sucked me in for a while and i love them for what they were. i'm SO glad you loved this =D
