Meryl's death scene proved he can emote, certain scenes in MGS3 proved he can emote, but it's either too much or not enough with him.

David Hayter still could have some feeling to Snake's voice in MGS1, but since then it's just been the cold badass guy voice without any emotion in it... I wonder why.

@Sh4dow54 When Snake says 'Gene! Stop!', in English it is lazy and almost indifferent
Akio Otsuka actually says it with feeling.

In the Japanese version , Snake sound serious but in the english version , he doesn't o-o , in my opinion
