Hey! Mister Tambourine Man, play a song for me,
4 -4 5 6 6 6 -6 6 -5 5 5 -4 -4
I'm not sleepy and there is no place I'm going to.

Hey! Mister Tambourine Man, play a song for me,
4 -4 5 6 6 5 -5 5 -4 4 -4 5 -4 4
In the jingle jangle morning I'll come followin' you.

Though I know that evenin's empire has returned in to sand,
Vanished from my hand,
Left me blindly here to stand but still not sleeping.
My weariness amazes me, I'm branded on my feet,
I have no one to meet, and the ancient empty street's too dead for dreaming.

Take me on a trip upon your magic swirlin' ship,
-4 5 -6 6 5 4 -4 5 -6 6 5 4
My senses have been stripped, my hands can't feel to grip,
-4 5 -6 6 5 4 7 7 -7 -6 6 6 -5 5 5 5 -4
My toes too numb to step, wait only for my boot heels to be wand'rin'.

I'm ready to go anywhere, I'm ready for to fade,
-4 5 -6 6 5 4 4 -4 5 -6 6 5 4 7 7 -7 -6 6 -5 5 -4
Into my own parade, cast your dancing spell my way,I promise to go under it.

Though you might hear laughin', spinnin', swingin' madly across the sun,
It's not aimed at anyone, it's just escapin' on the run
And but for the sky there are no fences facin'.
And if you hear vague traces of skippin' reels of rhyme
To your tambourine in time, it's just a ragged clown behind,
I wouldn't pay it any mind, it's just a shadow you're seein' that he's chasing.

Then take me disappearin' through the smoke rings of my mind,
Down the foggy ruins of time, far past the frozen leaves,
The haunted, frightened trees, out to the windy beach,
Far from the twisted reach of crazy sorrow.
Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free,
Silhouetted by the sea, circled by the circus sands,
With all memory and fate driven deep beneath the waves,
Let me forget about today until tomorrow.

  • what Key is it in? because i got a Hohner Marine Brand in the key of e because my frineds said its the best for blues but apparently it isn't and i'm trying to find blues songs for it or any song that is played in E. Can you help me?

  • @ztj95 Hey Pal, since you have an E already I'd start with that. Most people gradually buy all the different keys so they aren't subjected to just one key. As far as dylan goes- he changes the key to his songs frequently so it depends on which song you're talking about. Hope this helps!

  • can u teach the the solo part of the song

  • @jqueriapajj Hey there, yeah I can- but you should find a room that you feel comfortable in and just jam by yourself and experiment! Its a lot of fun and you can learn really quick :^)

  • could you you show me how to paly the solo harmonica part of mountain of love by johnny Rivers. thaks. i have the tabs but ,can;t seem to quite get it. thanks

  • what key is your harmonica in?

  • @ztj95 For blues harmonica you typically play "cross harp", which would mean that to use your E harp, you would play in the key of B.

  • My harmonica is in the key of C idk if he plays it in that sooo

  • he who sings with his tongue on fire

  • @lespaul702

I hear Bob Dylan singing quite frequently on his cds yes :) I think you should start paying some more attention to music once you're listing to it! Because it might sound a little crazy or so, but Bob Dylan really sings! unbelievable isn't it????

  • These are all single-notes right?

  • nice video and sound like you got a gifted singing voice also.

Dylan is my favorite and after blowing in the wind that was the second song i learned. good job.

  • None of Bob's melodic harp-parts are brain surgery
