One could argue that this tape has been 'doctored' as when she mentions the oil fields being set on fire the film is running in reverse (look at the car) what she is actually saying is: Erif no meth gnittes er'yeht, meth thiw gniod er'yeht tahw aedi on evah yeht soc haey ha.

not doctored at all. this is the filmmaker/interviewer speaking. There is a jump cut before I ask the last question -- as I kept only the highlights. What looks like the car going backwards IS the car going backwards -- reversing down the block after having driven up it -- this is the lower east side, it happens. If the film was moving backwards, all her mouth and body movements would be moving backwards as well. It would be extremely noticeable. If only editing software were that good!
