John McDonnell wimps from Labour leader contest (09Jun10)

Labour leadership candidate John McDonnell quits from the leadership nominations list because he can't get enough votes to get himself put forward.... or is it because he said two days ago if he could relive the 1980's again, he would assassinate Margaret Thatcher (and now paying the price for that comment)?

@MrLovethelife That's typical of the left. They declare to their ideological friends that they would love to see someone killed, then claim to everyone else that it 'was just a joke'. They use that excuse because they actually think that joking about killing a named individual in cold blood is socially acceptable!

@MrLovethelife False? No. He said that he would be only too glad to "go back to the 1980s and assassinate Thatcher". That type of thinking is typical of the statist, big-government supporting, authoritarian left where daring to hold a differing opinion is seen as a cardinal sin. No well adjusted human being would even countenance the idea of killing another person for idealogical reasons, let alone declare it proudly in public. He needs to be in prison, along with Blair and Brown.
