I used to wear hanfus. It would only take me 15 minutes at most to put on an elaborate one. Make-up doesn't take that long either. I'd say that the hair would take the longest. But these beauties have the help for that.

@yueluo2000 The Huaxia started calling themselves Han since the Han dynasty, but the Sinitic people have an unbroken line of descent to this day. While there are admixtures, and you are correct that it's mostly in the MTDNA, it's not as prevalent as you think, and genetic studies have shown that Han Chinese share much greater genetic similarity when compared to non-Han ethnic groups, the difference is noticeable even in geographically close populations like Cantonese and Vietnamese.

There's no race named Han Chinese. Han means the people of Han Dynasty. The term Han chinese is the biggest assimilation of the history.
