Solar Flares and Earthquakes
Every time there is a large earth-directed solar flare and CME, people immediately start posting warnings about a giant earthquake. This is usually accompanied by a report about a (one) quake which followed a flare in the past. The favorite example of the day is now the March 2011 quake in Japan which followed an X 1.5 solar flare. It also preceded the 'super moon' and tidal peak of March 19, but people don't mention that as they don't know about it.
The problem is that people who issue such warnings, don't ever do any research to see how many other flares and quakes were associated. As with any phenomenal connection like that, there is a problem with the thesis if 1) there are solar flares without large quakes, or 2) large quakes without solar flares. That means that the connection is NOT a regular one, if it exists at all.
Once again, this last week we have seen a 'Powerful M8.7 Flare & Earth Directed CME', but no accompanying large quake. For several years, my suggestion has been that people who support this idea, show us the quakes that were associated with the largest solar flares from the past. Here is a list to work from:

"solar flares started last week. earth quakes started yesterday. Why does no one put two & two together??"
You missed the point of the video. Sow us the quakes for ALL the solar flares from last year. People DO try to put two and two together, but those two don't go together consistently. Look at the list of flares in the description of this video, and show us the quakes associated with all of those. Begin with the largest and work down the list please.
