EarthBound - How to Skip Starman Junior

Trick discovered by Floogal

1. Don't take King with you
2. Lure an enemy to the roadblocks before talking with Picky
3. Make sure your HP is very close to 0 before talking to Picky.
4. Stay low when you go walk up to Picky, otherwise you might accidentally make the enemy disappear offscreen.
5. After the Buzz Buzz speech, go fight the enemy and lose. You have two turns to let the enemy kill Ness - after that, Buzz Buzz will start attacking.

This lets you skip the Starman Jr. battle. The game will continue normally, and once the sun comes up, the Starman Jr. battle won't be triggered if you walk in that area.

This is mostly a neat little trick for people trying low-level runs. See if you can beat Frank at Level 1 now!

hey this has to be fake if you look in the games spawning code enemies can't appear when you have buzz buzz in your party you messed with the spawning code for this to happen

Well, starman never attacks physically. I guess Buzz Buzz is only strong vs psi.
