@imcoolikethat2 Ryan Gosling, for a month before beginning to film, got personal training for this movie from Neil Strauss. Neil Strauss has been voted the best pick-up artist in the world by many of his collegues and has taught a lot of other celebrities too. His book "The Game" really is AMAZING and it really does teach you how to pick up women. It is in a "30 Day Challenge" structure and I can see everything the book talks about in Ryan Goslings character, it's actually kinda funny. fun fact.
