Mar 10 - Czech Republic President Vaclav Klaus, currently also holding the European Union presidency, denounces "global warming alarmism" in a speech at Columbi

Klaus blames "alarmists" for misusing climate change information to try to expand the role of government.

He has written a book expressing doubts that climate change is man-made, and was in New York to attend a conference of climate change sceptics.

@hunkydoryorder Uranium is pretty bad, but at least it can be tucked away somewhere. Carbon and industry by-products, on the other hand, are just sprayed up into the air or down into local water supply.
