i create a Photoshop document with white background, RGB mode, at 1920x1080 screen resolution, pull out a vertical guide at horiz center point 960, use the marquee selection tool to select the right (or left) side using the vertical guide. Then I fill this selection with black. Bring this doc into AfterEffects, place it in layer directly above Right picture layer and "Track Mat" it in Modes panel and pick Luma Matte. Repo the layer to center pic content. Repeat for Left pic but set Luma Inverted

the image stabilization on the Canon (shooting the video) really suck

@skateemerica134 how does it blow it away. your can only shoot for 15 minutes and need extra audio? the stock cameras alone, ths blows away the 7d. when you shoot with your 7d you have to sit up on all external stuff.
