Scene from my short film 'Deadline' made with another student and close friend, you can view his video's through my friends and subscriptions on YouTube; ILKERsMAP

Scene is a few angles shot of a static car on greenscreen with the background and reflections composited in After Effects 7.0. It's not ILM or Lucas Arts worthy, but I'm happy with it for a first time effort. The scene was shot as an additional add in scene for our second edit/cut of the film. I think it worked well for what we were doing.

Big thanks to 'The Car Thief' for being in the movie, you can see more of his video's in my favorites on YouTube. Thanks to everyone else involved in the filming.

Thanks also to the creative cow team where I got the tutorial on how to put this scene together. Check out their 'Action Movie Essentials' DVD, I highly recommend that.

The music featured in this scene was used for educational and promotional uses only. No money was made from this production.

  • hahah lol could you give me a direct link to the creative cow tutorial please? thanks

  • nice ozirus

  • Frantic for the win!!

  • Thanks for that and sorry about the late reply...

The last track that fades into the credits is 'Original Prankster' by The Offspring.

  • The CU scenes worked well i thought, the wide shots when all the windows needed filling weren`t as smooth though ( as it wasn`t shot for that purpose ) Any chance of a brief explanation on what plug-ins used (if any) and how you shot it ? I have AE 6.5 will it do it ?
