Interesting isn't it? When you look at it from a sociological perspective you uncover so much: the struggle between the adventurous youth and the cautious elders; how when one race of people view themselves as "standard" or "normal" the rest seem as nonhuman, monsters in some cases; the struggle to balance your heart's desire with the reality of life.....

@empemitheos well this takes places mostly during the start of the apocalypse so cell phone coverage might still be available maybe after a few weeks or months communication might go down but you only see that in the movies so you never know :P

at first i thought that the infection somehow got in the safe room, but then i realized that in vatsala's eyes the humans were monters and the boy regreted letting her in after he went insane
