http://www.ThisIsGreen.com Editor Thomas Bache-Wiig reviews the Lenovo ThinkCentre. An energy saving, Epeat Gold Rating desktop computer with an ultra small form factor. The Lenovo ThinkCentre M57 is a low power consumption desktop. This environmentally friendly design lets the desktop draw a fraction of the power of standard desktops and just above what most power friendly notebook computers draw.

  • i have old IBM thinkcentre with 512 ddr RAM and Pentium 4 inside.. can I put it in vertical position or just horizontal. Until now it was always horizontal, but due to the currently lack of space I would like to put it vertical.. what do you think guys?

  • My Lenovo is the "A61e" model with an AMD Athlon 64 X2 BE-2350 CPU, 4GB DDR2 RAM, 320GB HDD and i have good old Windows XP installed on it (my main gaming PC uses Windows 7).

  • I've been using one of these for a couple of years now and it's a nicely designed neat little machine. It's no good for modern gaming as it's too small to add an extra GPU (there's no PCI-E slot anyway)... But it's still a great machine for watching movies, web browsing, listening to music and retro gaming etc. Mine is currently loaded with emulators and is hooked upto my 37" TV and i bought USB Snes and Sega Saturn controllers for it :)

  • @mmmm2158 @mmmm2158 Plus the amount of CO2 and emissions data centres emit it quite immense and has actually increased the amount of overall emissions with the presence of the Internet and they are predicted to be nearing the total amount of emissions close to that of the whole airline industry. So those gadgets may just cancel their "green, eco-friendliness" out as soon as they connect to the Internet or local networks, interesting.

  • I noticed that a lot of stores use the Ibm thinkcentre as a POS System.

  • @TheSpaniard102 LOL@ Carbon-Methane emitting , pulling ass !! LOL

  • @mmmm2158 Ironic that you demonstrated retardation while labeling someone as retarded.

  • Kiss my Carbon-Methane emitting, polluting ass. Al Gore is a Douchebag.

  • LOL
