Commuting the Harlem: Late Trains, Missed Connections, etc

This morning: 02/20/2009 Metro North Experienced a Broken Rail near Scarsdale station, on track 2, causing every southbound to need to be walked over it.

This video was shot between 08:42 and 08:51 when my train (#617, the 08:45 GCT-Southeast) finally arrived. We only got delayed for a moment as we slowed while passing the crews on the ground who were walking trains over the broken rail....but the lack of information given to the customers was unreal.......

Let me point out that the announcement at the beginning of the video is in regards to train 334, which can not be late due to "a late connection" as this train **does not have any connection trains!**

Before I sttarted recording I learned that 324 (sched originate MVW 08:00) was not held for its connection with 624 (sched to arrive MVW at 07:57), so all the connecting Bronx pax had to pile onto 534 (sched 8:32), which is the first M7A in this vid ...
