I actually saw her perform in the theater in 1982. Spectacular. So sad when she left us.

I saw a movie, don't remember the name, where she was called the BABABABOOM girl, it was about an alien invasion......really funny.

I remember a performance Anita Morris did on television in one of her body stocking outfits. Anybody recall it?

Her line is actually "Sam...as sexually provocative as I like to think I am..."

As someone else has noted she combined amazing sexuality with class and femininity. She would never have called herself promiscuous, even while in character.

I have not seen that show,just read about it and it was one of the reasons I have not seen the movie Nine. Who can fill the shoes of Julia and Morris? No one.

@johnyzero2000 - I imagine she did, as dancers have been wearing them for years, to eliminate VPLs.

However, the costume itself was fully lined with fleshtone fabric (Powernet, or whatever equivalent was around back then), for the sake of modesty, and to provide extra support & warmth for Anita's body & muscles.

It was ludicrous even at the time, that the costume was deemed too risque for the Tonys broadcast, as it was obviously totally lined to give the illusion of nudity.
