Come along and join The Tweed Run where participants wear a tweed outfit and partly ride on historical bicycles through downtown London. This started out as a kind of protest for more quiet a year ago when 150 Brits cycled through the British capital. The 12-mile-long route goes from central London passing the Tate Britain, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Saville Row and St. Paul's Cathedral.
@jericoba Well apparently brown worn in the city would show that a gentleman was planning to slope off to his country estate for a long weekend. Bad form old chum, bad form.

@Nothefaceyoubitch Not wear brown in town? Where did you hear that? Nonsense! Of course you can wear brown in the city but according to old guide lines (rules) one should not wear brown after six o'clock.

I rather thought tweed was strictly for country pursuits? Never wear brown in town, and all that...
