This is a vex robot built to pick up a tennis ball canister, upright it, and place it vertically 5 foot away from its original location. Not built to be efficient, this robot makes use of front wheel steering and rear wheel drive (through the use of a differential). 2 degrees of freedom within the robot's arm allow the motorized claw to pick up objects from a variety of positions. The cardboard end effectors were cut using a laser cutter and modeled in Autodesk Inventor and Autocad. A camera mounted on board captures it all on film.
