Sahih Bukhari Chapter 40 Book Of Hiring Hadith Number 2143
It is related from Abu Hurayra that the Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah did not send any Prophet but that he herded sheep." His Companions said, "Including you?" He said ﷺ , "Yes, I used to herd them for money (qirats) for the people of Makkah."
