The Skids - Out Of Town (single version)

The original version of the song,b-side to the Masquerade single released in May 1979. A slightly different version of it is included on the 1980 album The Absolute Game. This version though,was not featured on any Skids retrospective,nor on the expanded editions of their albums and so far it remains unreleased on CD

Not so rare. I bought the double single last week for just 8 euros. In GEMM you can find it from 5-6 euros + shipping.

I don't like Aftermath Dub, but the other 3 are astonishing!!!

Richard Jobson, Stuart Adamson, William Simpson & Thomas Kellichan. Produced by Bill Nelson. Not long after this recording was made Kellichan left The Skids, never to return. There were two versions released (1x7" & 2x7" single double pack featuring 4 songs). The double pack is ultra rare! Nelson then went on to produce their "Days in Europa" album.
