For 20 years the denialists simply said global warming did not exist. Then, when it became so obvious to everyone that the climate was changing, they switched tactics and now admit it's happening but it isn't our fault.  What will they try next? Perhaps "ok, it's happening, it's our fault, but there's nothing we can do about it." So long as they can avoid having to admit responsibility or god forbid drive something other than an SUV.

@bamboocha923 Its all good bro. Look, I know Alex Jones is a crazy fear monger, but what about the organizations that want and support global warming? They are fear mongers also..According to the IPCC, "In order to reduce CO2 emissions within the next decade by 1%, an investment of at least $3 trillion will be needed. However, 1% will reduction is an insignificant_factor to prevent global warming.." Even the IPCC says its not worth it to try and prevent a natural process.. Look it up =)

@BomaBoi "Global Cooling" will come because of imbalance in the climate and as an effect of global warming. If you know anything about global warming you should know that. That has been said in many occassions... But denialist are aware of the that fact so they are trying to convince ppl that we are in a period when world climate is cooling down and mayor "global cooling" or "the new ice age" will eventually happen. I dont visit my acc very often so sorry for the late response...

@bamboocha923 Actually, there are 35 lies in the film. The British Judge at the time, was only able to indicate 9 of them.. Since new science models have appeared, 35 discrepancies have been found. Ive grown tired of arguing. I just sincerely hope in 10 years when they come out with global cooling, you will remeber "BomaBoi" on youtube was correct =)

@BomaBoi "And yes the judge did win the suit" I google searched about the lawsuit and it is based upon 9 or 11 inaccuracies in the film. So, there are 9 or facts in the movie which are exaggerated or innacurate so THE WHOLE thing about global warming is infulenced by people is nonsense? I will always admit if some facts are BS propaganda, but COME ON! Denialists use 9 inaccuracies in some documentary, e-mails drawn out of context, stupid petitions while they don't have REAL scientific data

There are many reasons why this kind of logic does not work in practice. One reason, energy efficient cars and houses etc. are at this time more expensive than usual alternatives. People than go to cheaper solutions without questioning them. And if you add that large (esp. oil) companies have the most influence on the market, you have no other option

@bamboocha923 Sorry bro but I think you have my position confused a little bit. I am all for energy efficiency and alternative energy. However, I believe these innovations have to happen in the market place, NOT from government intervention and ESPECIALLY not from government sanctions (cap and trade) on business. Even the IPCC stated that cap and trade along with a few trillion dollars will be INSIGNIFICANT in the curving of future carbon emissions. Its futile. And yes the judge did win the suit
