my megasquirt convertion runs!

This is the second time my MS&S Extra equiped VW 9A engine runs. It is using a Ford coil pack, which is directly driven from the MS.
After correcting some wrong wiring and loose ground connections, I was able to start the engine in just 2 attempts.
This is also an engine convertion project, I will use this engine in my 1986 VW transporter syncro.
You may see the adapter plate which I made between the engine and the bus bellhousing. The starter is a bus item too.

I have one MSII V3.0 board.

It's cheap, it's easy to use/config and flexible to work with a lot of engines, sensors and configurations.

But there are some problems that are not on the manuals. U need to know a bit of electronics, mechanics and combustion to properly tune your engine.

I'm happy with it. I have an Emerald system and had an AEM and Electromotive. MS is easier to tune with megalogviwer. You can do a good fuel map in some minutes with a wide band oxigen sensor.
