I can't imagine why anybody would import a 380SL unless it has already been updated with the 2X timing chain. There are still lots of 560's around like mine that are pretty cheap now with the depressed economy. The only reason I would ever go to the trouble of finding one overseas was if it was cherry and had the 5 spd manual tranny unavailable in the U.S.

Mooi hoor stond er hier ook maar zo'n w107, wat komen er toch mooie langs op ebay, voorlopig blijft het hier nog even bij dromen! Geniet er van!

mijn vader heb ook wel eens een amerikaanse gekocht en dan is het interieur verkleurt (door de zon) en de kant waarmee hij aan het water heeft gestaan helemaal rot

Where these cars made in Germany and imported to the USA in that time or are they manufactured over there?

The were made in Stuttgart Germany and exported :-) to the USA
