Members of our Church went over to Mississippi numerous times after Hurricane Katrina to help any way they could. This is a slide show I put together and showed it at a church function last fall. The last few photos are some of our church members. The other photos are from the New Orleans and Miss. areas. The song is by Casting Crowns. The song has been getting airplay on Christian stations so I decided to share the slideshow.

this video really shows u the horrors of what me my family and friends had 2 go thru... i saw this video and it helped me get thru the months of repair, struggle, and heartbreak.. thank u

I am sure this is one of the most powerful sondgs ever recorded. Praising God in adversity..that is the lessons of adversity. As sure as the storms of life come, God gives us strength and friends and volunteers to overcome or rebuild.....God bless this message.

That's so heart breaking... amazing what the wrath of God can really do. Hopefully this will remind you people what denying God can do... he is a loving God, but he will speak to your heart somehow.

the video is great and shows a lot of distruction from katrina. i live in lower st.bernard parish, just outside of new orleans. i listen to this song all the time, not because of katrina, although i lost everything i owned and lost my dad due to a major stroke 7 months after. emotional strain on so many who were "unqualified" for fema is a sad story of it's own. please continue to pray and praise him for what he is doing through this continuing storm. FAITH WILL SEE ME THROUGH IN JESUS NAME!
