OMG Carl Rogers looks like an Observer from Fringe! No wonder he is so wise and empathic. His thinking is years beyond where psychology is currently stuck.

z this cognitive behavioural therapy?

This was done many years ago the (Gloria session)...to show client centered therapy. Versus psychoanalytical or Freud...love your client and listen with empathy.

This is from the beginning of the Gloria Films where Carl Rogers, Fritz Perls and Albert Ellis all had sessions with someone called Gloria which were filmed and demonstrate different approaches to counselling/psychotherapy. These films are alos available for viewing on YouTube.

I a therapist, and my core model is that of Carl Rogers Person Centred Approach. It is the root of all real therapy. Look to at the work of Eugene Gendlin, a colleague of Rogers, and the Founder of the Focusing Institute.
congruence - what i am experiencing inside is present in my awareness and comes out through my communication. (have your inside match your outside. brilliantly simple yet essential for communication.)
