I do not believe people should be persecuted for religious belief, that is wrong, The Dalia lama is the head of his order and if you want to belong to that particular order you must abide by their rule If you respect what he stands for you should not worship this deity. The DL is fighting to keep his followers grounded in reality ,,he doesn't want his form of Buddhism degrading back into superstition. he wants to bring the people to a higher state of consciousness and personal responsibility

I'm a Kagyu and this practice is banned from our lineage authorities for having dupious authorities. Also Nyigma, Sakya as well. If there's people telling you to make major issue with the Dalai Lama you may want to inquire alternative motives...........anyone serious about being a true practitioner cross reference with other lineages. Dorje Phurba, Mahakala......there's many other protectorate practices.

my parents and grandparents have suffered a lot under the chinese govt not yours so you will never know or understand how it feels when u make such a statement.

tibetans. but i strongly disagree with that white gal claims about shugden followers being treated worst than how chinese government are tibetans....that statement really makes me angry....does she know how many tibetans have being killed how many girls and women have being raped by the chinese army, they are still being suppressed , mentally tortured, jailed and killed for speaking their mind.......

i know it will be very difficult or perhaps impossible for Dalai Lama to explain the common man about his decision on shugden practice....i trully beleive down to my core that Dalai Lama is a great human being with compassion and love for everyone. i'm not a religious person but i do listen to Dalai Lama preachings and try to do my best to practice it in my day to day life....i think Dalai Lama should speak more openly about the issue with common people to clear the misunderstanding among ....
