Although not in the group commonly known as "crooners," Al Jolson selectively shed his earlier Winter Garden bravado in his 1940s, well-liked Kraft Music Hall. He learned quickly how to make good use of the hall's microphone. The most popular entertainers of the day queued up to share the limelight with the inimitable Al.

  • I SAW HIM PERFORM IN 1949 WHEN I WAS A TEENAGER.....HE WAS AN AMAZING PERFORMER! I STILL REMEMER THE GOOSE BUMPS I HAD FOR THE ALMOST 2HRS HE WAS ON STAGE.....THANK YOU FOR POSTING THESE PRICELESS VIDEOS OF A TRUE AMERICAN PHENOM!
