I used to play the LP on 45rpm and that made this song even funkier!!! Bill Withers and Bobby Womack are all you need for some real truth about life and love.

Great post. Dionne Farris (former Arrested Development member and wonderful talent as a solo artist) remade this song awhile back. I was wondering why I seemed to know the lyrics so well. . . must have heard it as a child. Love Bll Withers, such an awesome story teller!
