Feeling kind of bad for myself that my only beach vacation trip is stunted by Hurricane Irene. I got tired of feeling bad for myself so I wrote myself a song to help me to feel better. I really wish all of you in wake of Irene safety. Feel free to check out more of my music on www.kimyarson.com

I only get vacation once a year
A chance to kick back and drink a cold beer
The sun on my face the sand in my toes
But mother nature's got other plans and
The beaches are closed

I see the media has us all in an uproar
The water's all gone from every grocery store
I filled my gas tank got out some cash
Got some batteries for flashlights in case of a power crash

I'll do what I can and get down on my knees
Pray with all my might it goes back out to sea
Then I'll read a good book so time passes by
Cause when I stop to think about it I wanna do is cry
