For Fantasy of Flight founder Kermit Weeks, the opening of his aviation-themed attraction has been a natural extension of a lifelong, unbounded passion for aviation and aircraft. Weeks has been involved in aviation since his childhood and his enthusiasm for furthering public interest in aviation has never stopped growing. A skilled aerobatics competitor and aircraft designer, Weeks has earned acclaim both for his accomplishments in the air-as an aviator, and on the ground for his technical ability to build aircraft and his promotion of aviation and vintage aircraft restoration.

Monty Chumley RIP . Monty was Eastern Airlines Pilot, & won cross country Air Races. He & Kermit were best friends.

When I saw Kermit practicing over the Redlands I was amazed,everyone stopped working & jaws dropped. His solution was all engine,a gravity repellar.

He is the man Brother, big time!!. Kermit kicked the russkies butts.

He kicked the Russkies butts. Kermits Mother Marta played Tennis at my Parents Tennis Club Coral Oaks. Week's Solution Kicked Butt!!!! with Kermit at the stick. I agree He is still the man always was. When I was a kid, I watched him when he practiced out over the redlands south florida, that tiny plane was nothing but engine,a real gravity repellar.You could tell it was Kermit, nobody else could fly like that.

Very interesting - glad we have people like Kermit Weeks in aviation - we need more like him - I visited Fantasy of Flight a few yeas ago - well worth the trip.
