"Standing Tall" provides an intimate look at the basketball-focused biography of celebrated NBA center Patrick Ewing and proves that there is more to this man than game-saving blocks and slams. Catch footage of him as a schoolboy star in Boston, revisit his college career at Georgetown, snag a courtside seat for his battles as the centrepiece of the resurgent New York Knicks, and fly with him to Barcelona to be part of the historic "Dream Team." Rare footage and detailed interviews capture some of Ewing's career-building moments and give fans a taste of the celebrity center's friendly demeanour.

  • Today, that young Patrick Ewing would be the best center in the NBA too. That it's what really shcok me. He would eat Bynum and Howard for dinner. Just think Ewing battled against Alonzo, Shaq, Hakeem, Mutombo.. those where awesome centers.

Today Howard and Bynum battle each other but there is no other BIG force out there.

  • Wow look at Jeff Van Gundy on the Knicks in 1990

  • pat was the best center in the nba

  • jesus christ his first nba point was a recovered shot, now thats nice lol

  • @KWCline91 well they should have won anyway....had not Starks flopped 2 games in a row.(No disrespect to Starks. An exciting player in his own right.)

  • # 33 forever =)

  • Hey Pat...was it rough?

  • Dig a young then-assistant coach Jeff Van Gundy ecstatic with the clipboard at 9:01 !

  • Greatest center of all time.

  • Had he not played against Olajuwon and the Rockets in 1994, he wouldve won a championship
