"rarely sang properly"?... what exactly is properly? by whose standards and tastes? and if the singer chooses to sing in a way that you don't quite agree with,it's not proper? hmmm.
can't quite agree with you i'm afraid.i always sang properly by my standards, made mistakes of course but i chose my own steps, defined my own style, didn't allow anybody else
to do it for me and i stand or fall by those choices....

You are right. Instead of "properly", I should written "traditionally." The only Cindytalk albums that I have are "In this World" and "camoulflage Heart." While I tremendously respect those records, I couldnt get into them the way I did with Macbeth (the one song that I have). But what I wrote, however poorly stated, was meant with respect and admiration.

Yay! Someone on the internet who admits he/she made a small mistake. My day was made . Anyways, sorry Cindytalk fans, but I came here from a Cure forum and this doesn't sound anywhere as good as Robert Smith and his crew (imho of course) ... It's just a little too boring. Does anyone see my point? There's just not too much goin on in this song.

I like the Cure, but I think "Wish" was their last good album.
