Hey if you know about where on the lake were you fishing at. If you like catching a lot of fish (not always big fish) go to hamilton branch.

Almanor is a great fishery!! heads up if you ever see a guy from trophy sticks there, he is liar/salesmen! his lures made in china cheaply and the paint cracks after a few uses. dont buy!!

@neversat Awesome. Please make for videos. LOL. I love your fishing videos. Yea and i'm gonna buy some downriggers Sept. 16 so I'll probably be going up there more often. Do you guys live around here? I'm from Red Bluff. I've got a 14.5 ' aluminum boat with a little 7.5 hp motor. Nothin fancy but it sure makes a good little fishing boat. You guys take care and have fun!
Well I'm headed up to lake Almanor this weekend. I'm gonna be drift fishing this time around. I'm gonna try around the lake cove area and I'll let you know how it went. I've got lots of bait and plenty of pro-cure scents. Wish me luck. LOL. I hope to see you guys up there some time.

@ravmox3 Good luck! You'll probably see me on the water this weekend. Say hi if you see me. Look for an Aluminum "Westcoaster" with a windshield, a white bimini top, a Honda 50HP on the back and a white trolling motor on the bow.

Did you guys have better luck drift fishing with night crawlers, crickets, or the cricket/ meal worm combo? Also were you using any pro-cure scents/ Thanks

@ravmox3 Yeah we use Pro-cure. I like the Trophy Trout Gel, probably because I put it on my worm right before I caught the biggest brown of my life. I use crickets when going for small mouth bass, nightcrawlers when trolling, and meal worms when drifting.
